Project information

The main goal of the project is to develop food products from
local raw materials for the needs of restaurants, retail trades,
organizers of the mass events and other food providing companies.

The basis of the project is to form a functioning network
between previously mentioned parties, local refiners and producers
of raw material. Development needs and activities are determined
specifically for each company and the principal is that
productification and other operations are performed cooperation with
previously mentioned parties and representatives of companies.
Restaurants, retail trades, institutional kitchens and organizers of
the mass events which operate in the project area are cooperation
with the primary producers and refiners of local raw materials. |

The project utilizes the best possible expertise and it
co-operates with the necessary interest groups when needed. The
administrative implementer of the project is The Development Centre
of Kemi-Tornio region. At least 75 companies/enterprisers are
attending during the project time.

The total funding of the project is 3 000 000 FIM, EU-share from EAGGF structural fund, Employment and Economic
Development Centre of Lapland rural development, municipalities of
Meri-Lappi and attending companies.
